Making a Gem Elixir

Welcome, forest wanderer, to Craddock’s Lounge, where oil lamps glow to reveal a toe-to-ceiling display of ancient elixirs. Green-hued glass stores a strange variety of formulations; among them—gem elixirs.

As Craddock is out for the week, it will be up to you to concoct your own elixir, with the crystal of your choice. Below are a few pointers.

Apprentice: Select a gemstone whose properties relate to a quality you desire to boost in yourself (charisma, super-human strength, mental genius, healing abilities, communication with plants, ability to fortell the future).

1) Fill 2 clear-glass containers with spring water. Nestle one inside the other (see diagram).

2) Place crystal in larger bowl’s water.

3) Place clear saran wrap or other clear lid on top to keep out bugs & animals (no metal lids).

4) Place bowl outside for anytime between 2 hours all the way up to a full moon cycle.

5) Dispose of water in large bowl. Transfer water from smaller jar into dropper bottle(s).

6) If bottle will be used over a long period of time, add one of the following to prevent bacterial growth (Apple cider vinegar, vegetable glyerine, or brandy for adults).

7) For best results, take 3-4 drops under tongue, 3 times daily for at least one month.

Upcoming moon cycles:

New Moon: Sun., Jan. 22

Full Moon: Tues., Feb. 7

New Moon: Tues., Feb. 21

Elfin Ember Elixir

I had been pocketing a large wooden coin for several days before uncovering the meaning of the other-worldly symbols that were scorched into either side. A clue from her cupboard, the Faery Queen was directing me toward Craddock’s Hedge, where I came upon a slew of carved wooden posts, including one whose mark matched the fused beaker-and-key image that appeared on my coin.

Craddock: “The Custodian of Keys,” is a world-renowned elf, an alchemist of sorts, who initiates humans into the realm of magicianhood through use of his custom Decoder Key Elixirs. The Magician’s test, claims Craddock, is best performed when the stars are aligned at precise angles (hence the constellation map on the token’s backside). And this is the reason why the Faery Queen sent me: to remove my human “Sludge Knot” with one of Craddock’s initiatory elixirs.

G. Craddock II: Elfin Ember Elixir (key #28)—Sleeping Human birthed into unfamiliar realm of Holographic Magician.

Preparations: To amplify the action of the living elixir, apprentice must move with the expansion and contraction the Elixir creates on various unactivated layers of the untuned human body. Be aware, the Elixir has been cultivated to a high degree of intelligence. Results can be very…uncomfortable.

Step 1:
Ingest prepared elixir before allotted practice time; several times daily. Dosage=¼ cup to begin; increase with tolerance.

Step 2:
Elfin Ember Elixir releases “Heart Sludge Knots.” Engage alchemical weaving and untying with periods of allowing—stepping completely out of the way to permit the combined plant intelligence to open up rusty pathways and blocked modes of being (physical, emotional, soul essence, etc.) Struggle through the embodiment of one particular mode of Being, switch to another, then try to layer them simultaneously.

May this elixir be the crystalline training wheels on your newly birthed magician’s chariot. Repeat upon failure, strive for deep activation. Continued ingestion of Elfin Ember Elixir will build the physical body’s foundational preparation for opening gateways to advanced stages of training, making way for a supernatural flight vehicle (see next week’s topic, below).

Note:
Not all is revealed. This is, after all, a three-dimensional papyrus which is not easily translated to a holographic, personal experience.

Recipe ingredients
(prepare at own risk*):
Base solution: Squeezed juice of Pomegranate & Acai.
Boil (in juice) the following plants for 15 minutes:
Hawthorne Berries (crush open), Rose petals, Hibiscus flowers, Pomegranate seeds, whole Cloves, Cinnamon sticks, Ginkgo leaves, pinch of Cayenne.
Strain, add Rose vibrational essence and/or Rose Quartz gem elixir as liquid cools.
Option: Add more fresh-squeezed juice too add living enzymes once cooled.
Action: Heart-tendril nurturing, yet invigorating & expanding. (“Get out of the way!,” howls Craddock).

* The Faery Queen (and G. Craddock II for that matter), do not recommend humans follow this recipe in lieu of modern medical advice (although they do offer quite strange solutions at times). Physical imbibement of Elfin Ember Elixir is only suggested after consulting with G. Craddock, as Magicianhood requires commitment to serious metamorphic change.

The Gift of Sight—Faery Vision!

While sitting in the forest, the Faery Queen bestows a gift to us—spectacles! Presenting the Glasses of Greenwood—aka…
